Jeweled Clemantis

We woke up to a jeweled world of ice covered trees, fences, bird feeders, and vegetation. A shining sun was all that was missing to make the scene totally magical.

Hubby went out driving in it twice today. he said that the ice on the roads was really thick until the salt trucks went by.

I have also taken photographs of clematis after they are done blooming - and this shot with the ice is fantastic. Nice to hear from you again- makes me want to get out and take some pictures!

At first glance, I thought these were glass. It must be/have been extremely cold for the filaments to freeze, mostly individually. Huge FAV
