Rule of Odds - Trees by farmreporter

Rule of Odds - Trees

I had a hard time with this challenge for some reason. I just did not see things that came in threes very often!
I was not even happy with the breakfast shot when I put three eggs in the fry pan!
But - I do like this clump of three birch trees that grow just outside our storage shed that seemed to answer the get pushed challenge which was 'Rule of Odds' given to me by Sally Ings @salza..
Here is my favourite of the three rule of odd shots I did, Sally @salza.
I guess I just prefer nature shots!

Love the colours here. The snow makes colours pop. Composition wise, for me the pipe in the front distracts. In a square crop with leaving the pipe out, the three birches get all the attention and the wonderful red and green background.

Thank you, Saxa, for the suggestion. It was a quick fix and I totally agree ... the square crop made a huge improvement!

Beautiful capture.

Stellar shot--touch of red makes trees and snow stand out more richly than if only black in background Also liked the "x marks the spot" of twigs anchoring eyes to trees. FAV
