52 Week Challenge - Story: Hometown

It's another snowy day on Main Street in Alexandria. The road crews have had their hands full keeping the snow banks cleared along this stretch of busy roadway.
The Main Street is narrow enough to start with so we do not need tall snowbanks to make it any narrower!
This is the crossroads of the east/west Highway 43 and the north/south Highway 34. It always amused me that both highways have the same numbers but just reversed.
This is also the most easterly point of Highway 43 - the beginning of it (or end of the road if you are coming from the west - lol!)
Lovely shot, but oh so cold looking.

We keep having warm days after and a lot of the snow melts. Not this time. We are in a deep freeze. March is a long cold month.

Nice small town with some old buildings. The snow is deceiving as it doesn't look too bad here.
