The sun came out briefly today so I was able to finally grab a shot of a turkey in our back yard in the sun. The feathers show so much better in the sun.
They are actually quite a pretty bird, even with their bald head.
This one is a youngster.
They are such a shy bird that they will fly away at the first hint of human activity - even if it is in the house so we try to stay away from the patio window when they are feeding. This shot was taken from the office window where they do not notice us as much.
