JackieR @30pics4jackiesdiamond and I were paired for the get pushed challenge this week and she asked me to deliver a high key using my new found dodge and burn skills with Photoshop.
So - as usual - I went to grab my shot at the last minute hoping that something on the beach would cooperate,
The seagulls did give me some nice high key shots against the water.
Here's a high key for you, Jackie @30pics4jackiesdiamond!
I did enjoy lightening up the sand and giving the wings a bit more definition.
I hope it is high key enough ... I do like seeing some definition in a photo.
@granagringa
Not a lot of dodging and burning - just lightened the sand a tad and burned a bit more detail in the wings is all. Almost SOOC.
I brought my ISO right up to 1600 in broad daylight to overexpose everything and then spot meter on the gull.

Thanks to all you ladies for your comments and FAVs. I do so love getting up in the morning to see them welcome my day!

Sounds like a great challenge, Jacqueline!
