The artist community of Glen Robertson got together to exhibit their fantastic local talent. I was invited to participate so I put in a total of 13 works. I had some very good reviews and it was wonderful validation of my work.
This art show was for all the local artists in our area be they painters, sculpture-rs, wood carvers, you name it they were there.
There were three of us photographers.
This is a combo shot to record the event and my response to Laura's @la_photographic get pushed challenge to show movement.
I usually show movement with panning so thought I would go different this time by slowing my shutter speed down while keeping my camera on a tripod to keep everything but the person moving in sharp focus.
Here is my first attempt, Laura @la_photographic . Not quite as I planned.
It was great experimenting with another way to show movement. Thanks you for the super challenge!

There is a lot of talent in our area!
@farmreporter Hi Wendy. I have been partnered with you for this weeks Get Pushed. I have been going through your photos and admire the work that you have done. The one of the rusted tractor really reaches out to me, reminding that time marches on.
For the Get Pushed 372 how about going out and doing a street photograph where you focus on capturing a stranger in an interesting setting. When I do this I love capturing street musicians, or sellers at a farmer's market.
@jnr
You have given me an excellent challenge that really pushes me out of my comfort zone, Jim!
Street photography scares me and I really need to work on that one, so thank you so much for your challenge.
Will get you your challenge very shortly.
