Proof that Water and Oil Do Not Mix

I was challenged by Kathy @randystreat to do a water and oil bubble abstract. It was fun to do. The wild colours come from plastic bread bag thingies (and yes - that is a word just like whatcha-ma-call-its and do-dads are proper words ) that I put on the table below the plate holding the oil and water.
I did have a light shining on the bread bag thingies to brighten up the scene.
And this is what I got! I did increase the saturation in Lightroom though.

I really enjoyed this challenge. It was fun playing in water and stirring up the oil to see the different results.
I liked this one and imagine I can see little faces in some of the smaller bubbles.
