Jackie R. @30pics4jackiesdiamond asked me to weather permitting, do a still life of indoor items - but outside. We still have some snow lying around but I did not like the snowy still life as much as I liked this one. But, even this one leaves a lot to be desired.
Weather was permitting, and it is so nice to see bare ground once again! We are now into a week of March break, and the schools are closed for another two weeks following that so I may be getting my fingers in the dirt before going back to school if the weather keeps up like this!
BTW - I tried to do a bit of touch-ups with 365's PicMonkey but it is acting up again, So, here is my unedtited version!
Here you go, Jackie R. @30pics4jackiesdiamond ! I hope to be able to get caught up with 365 in the next couple of weeks since I am not driving the little ones to school now.
I think it's a nice still life. I like the deep red flower and the lovely picnic basket.
How did you get to picmonkey? Seems like there used to be a link to it, but I couldn't find it or find any directions on this site as to how to do it. When I went to the picmonkey site, I found out you have to pay to use it.
My friend who paints is going to give my camera club a lesson in still life. Of course we have to wait till the Senior Center reopens. Are all the school, etc closing in Canada - and did you have a rush on toilet paper?
@30pics4jackiesdiamond With supplies disappearing I have to admit I brought more groceries than normal. Not hording just one or two extra things to be sure I can have them when I want them. And I only have toilet paper because my niece had extra and gave me some.

Yes - they closed the schools for two weeks following March break. And yes, people made a rush on a lot of supplies, including toilet paper. We are lucky that we have freezers full and I do some canning in the fall as well.
Hi Wendy,
Thanks for your wonderful feed back on my postings! So glad to know my photos are being seen. Thank you for this week's Get-Pushed Challenge, Night Photography. I looked over your expansive list of past challenges and I'd like to see you photograph something from a low angle or low point of view.
I'm going back to look at your photos now, I wanted to answer your note regarding the Get-Pushed so you can start thinking about it.
