I went to Island Park last night to play with my new lens. So very happy with it!
Took a ton of meaningless shots, like this one, to fill in my calendar.
(Sorry for the mass uploads, BTW! Life has been busy and I'm trying to catch up)

Yep - I got a new lens. Well, new to me.It is actually a used Nikon AFS VR 70-200 2.8G. It has a three year warranty and I bought it a reputable camera store (Henry's) so I feel pretty good about it.
I never thought I would ever own this particular lens because it is so expensive and was willing to settle for the same lens in Sigma, which also has good ratings, a better price, but is really heavy.
But, was able to pick this one up for less than the price of a new Sigma!
I'm SOOO happy!!
