52 Week Challenge - Silhouettes

Week 43 of the 52 Week Challenge said "Capture your subject in silhouette, an outline that appears dark against a light background. Lighting is key here and remember Silhouettes are not the same thing as a shadow."
I am not truly happy here. I knew that this would make an awesome silhouette. However - I tend to always try to keep a low ISO to avoid noise by increasing shutter speed. That was a mistake here. The geese - and the wind in the trees - are moving so do not have sharp focus.
I should have adjusted my ISO here. The noise would not have been noticeable.
Oh well - live and learn!
Also for the get pushed challenge where Anne @365anne challenged me the saying "Mistakes are the stepping stones to wisdom" to work with however I wanted to.
The mistake I made this week made me realize that this would work for the challenge!
Beautiful colors m peaceful scene with the ducks floating around.

This is beautiful. I do see what you mentioned about the movement. The outcome is still terrific.

Great photo! Because I read your narrative, I know what you are saying, but I wouldn't have really noticed it as your lovely ducks and the colors attract all the attention.

There is a fine line to be sure, but this turned out quite nice regardless. Have you ever tried Topaz DeNoise? I think it works much better than Photoshop's filter, but it is processor intensive. It has for sure saved several images I nearly disregarded due to noise.

@aikiuser
I have never used anything but Lightroom, which I use for its organizational attributes as well as adjusting my lighting and exposure. I only know how to use the sliders - nothing else.
I keep wanting to learn post processing but never seem to find the time!

@365anne
Here is one mistake that will definitely lead to photographic wisdom! I don't think I will ignore the ISO again!
