This sight made me look twice before stopping to grab a shot. So weird!
I noticed that the passengers were having a smoke when I zoomed in on the shot. I guess they were trying to get away from it all!
is that the st. lawrence? was there flooding? i could see the water isn't deep however, with that vastness, it does give off the impression that it's the middle of a lake or sea or river or something. it is so surreal. but you would have to give more explanation. 😊

I was told that they are probably on the old road from before they put in the dam to make the St. Lawrence Seaway. That road will occasionally come close to the present shore of the St. Lawrence.
It was weird seeing them there though!
