There is a sign that gives the schedule of all traffic using the locks that day. I had a 45 minute wait which I used to take photos and wander.
I expected, and was hoping, to see a large tanker going through which would have made an impressive shot. I was most disappointed to see this little tugboat come chugging through the narrows to the lock and chug its' way out again!

I may not be horizontal here which is a real problem with me. Though the boat did come in on the high side and go out the low side of the lock - it does lose about one foot elevation - but that would not be enough to give the tilt shift effect.
I am above the boat looking down so that also adds to the effect.
@farmreporter Wendy, I really like the effect (intended or not). It's not often that one can get the effect without post processing, so kudos to you :)
