Grasses Around the Post

The road allowance Prince and I walk on a daily basis is fenced along both sides which makes it ideal to keep dogs focused. He does not wander too far afield this way!
For my get pushed challenge which Delwyn @dkbarnett challenged me to take some black and white shots this week.

Thank you for asking for some B&W shots, Delwyn. I do enjoy looking for those opportunities. Thinking B&W makes you realize that not every subject lends itself to B&W - it is not just a matter of converting a colour shot to B&W.
There is much more to it!

Sorry I have taken a while to see this. Thanks for doing the challenge. Black and white does make you look at the scene differently, and you are right, not every scene lends itself to this. I like the simplicity of your subject with the grasses, together with the fencepost and wires.
