The Calgary Tower was once the tallest feature in Calgary, but is now dwarfed by the surrounding skyscrapers.
Taken from a park I discovered just across the river from the Saddledome and Stampede grounds. I am slowly beginning to know Calgary fairly well.

Yes - I truly live in a diverse area with everything you could ask for in the line of scenery. Plains, mountains, small towns with a western feel, and the beautiful city of Calgary.
There are badlands within an hour as well. Lots to see.
