We normally see a ton of hawks resting on fence posts. They USUALLY fly away as soon as we slow down - and I never can get a good shot at them - so I have never attempted to get one.
But, I decided to try to get one in flight on our traditional evening drive.
As fate would have it, we didn't see any hawks ... until the light was almost gone. And (s)he would not fly high enough to grab even a silhouette shot.
I Love this!!! Your country shots, farming, just lovely. My get pushed challeng for you is something metropolitan. If you are not in proximity of a town or city, can you focus on the word metropolitan or busy? Something with a lot to see and focus on? If that's too weird, I will think on something else. Love your style. Following you!
@farmreporter Wendy, I am not going to complete my get pushed assignment on time. I will do it but it will be outside the parameters this week's time frame. I will tag you when I get it done.
That is a fabulous challenge, Sandy!
Will do!
Not a big deal.
I do know that life gets busy at this time of the year!!
