Someone Praying Over Me

Suse challenged me to do some creative shadow work, and it wasn't until I saw her wonderful photo that I figured out what to do.
So, I came up with this idea and tried to figure out how to do it. A real learning experience with camera as well as with PS14.
Thanks, Suse for the challenge.
Suse @susale
This is really not very good technically, but I wanted to try it out anyway and let you see the result.

Thank you for your kind words! I think this is great: both the concept as well the execution. The mood is powerful and compelling. Shadows are tricky to make work but always fun to work with.

@susale I am going to try it again - learning that life is so much than what can be captured SOOC - that sometimes what is off of camera (or subtly edited) can speak more than what is straight off the lens.
Thanks for the follow.

@farmreporter This was technically difficult shot to do, but fun.. You made it work though! Was interesting to learn about how shadows react with light, angles and all the aspects of making a shot like @susale.

This photo made me cry, so moving. Thanks for the follow, & following back. I like your ethics of taking photos for 365. Very similar to mine. A chronical of a year in my life.
