Shadow and Prince were finally at a good distance apart and both facing me in order to get a shot for this April Word.
They are so frustrating! Either they are too far apart, or one is sniffing the ground, or one has his back to me, or ....
I could have posed them but they then look as if they are being punished. This candid shot works so much better!
They are such great dogs. A work friend of mine had 8, yes 8, Basset Hounds and used them for his photo Christmas card every year. The stories of getting them all to look at the camera and stay still would have everyone in stitches for days. Impossible to do!
