This is an adorable picture. This little chipmunk must have his jaws filled with nuts to store for the winter ahead. The leaves might be the clue he need to get busy.
So darling!! I saw a 'ground squirrel' / chipmunk today, running across the parking lot of a business area, cheeks as full as he could get them after having visited the dumpster of a fast food restaurant. I hope he and his cheeks were able to squeeze through the small hole in the wooden fence that lead into a wooded area beyond!
