for the past 3 years, this is something i've wanted to try but it hasn't happened.. this is how i would wish to take the photograph: it has the magic triangle, which is a superb leading line, keeping the eye and brain engaged and moving.. should one's eye stray from the triangle it would be brought to attention by the plethora of lines within the stalks and brought back to triangle again.. the textures are outstanding. in both the straw and clouds.. good choice with choosing mono.. it helps to accentuate the textures so well.. fabulous, love it..

@jorlam Your encouragement is very much appreciated. Again luck played a large part here. The tractor had just moved on to another field and while I was snapping away the farmer pulled up - I'd blocked his entry to the field! I was hoping to have got a sunset shot with the bales but they were being removed. It then rained heavily for the rest of the day,!
