Thanks to Kathy @randystreat for giving me the idea of using a background other than the gradient tool - I shamelessly copied your idea because it saved me having to do a reflection or a shadow!
When i followed your advice on how to achieve this globe i did think of using it against an appropriate background.. you have beaten me to it - by a mile..
this is really superb, from the title to the globe and the sea.. and all those individual photographs of the dogs too.. fabulous doesn't cover this.. absolutely love it..
Hi! We are get-punched partners this week. You have some beautiful pictures with the golden sunlight tones and with the diffused pre-rain light! So, for this week I want to challenge you to take a beautiful photo in the midday sun. As you do it, think about the challenges photographing in harsh light and about the ways to compensate or to play it to your advantage. If the weather does not cooperate, then let the color RED be your challenge (but only as a weather-related "emergency"). Have fun and let me know if none of these would work and I can come up with something else.
I love it! Don't be ashamed. It's called sharing, networking, mentoring, encouraging, or whatever depending on where one is at in the scheme of things.
@lovingandsharing Thanks Kay, I used a tutorial by Chuckie Delano on YouTube called The Easiest 3D Globe (or something very similar). All I did was make the pics into a collage and then follow the above video. Time consuming but good fun!
@fbailey hi thanks for the heads up, is something to have a go at. like yours very much, sounds good fun to do too and learn also. thank you for sharing with me.

Must go to bed now, just noticed it is almost midnight here.
