Taken at The Warren, Folkestone, this afternoon. The light on the water was silver, the sky was full of clouds and my dog had just stolen the ball belonging to the dog of the couple about to walk out of the picture ... this scene begged to be converted to b&w. How did it make me feel? Alive, cold, and so very happy to be retired!
Fabulous in B&W - the beach in Winter makes me feel exactly the same way. All I need is a warm coat and hat, some brightness despite the cold and a British beach to walk along and I am the happiest of souls :)
