Today we visited Samphire Hoe, the nature reserve on the outskirts of Dover that has been constructed from the 4.9 million cubic tonnes of chalk marl resultant from the Channel Tunnel excavations. This shot is of the 10m oak framed and larch clad sea watch tower under the White Cliffs of Dover, containing paintings by Sax Impey on a sound installation in collaboration with Geir Jenssen.
It has previously featured in my project, but in b&w.
I remember seeing your b&w version - it is such an interesting story behind the photo. I do like this coloured one - it shows the watch tower in a different way.
