A shot from a few days ago as nothing today was any good. This was the nearest I've managed to get to a butterfly all summer and as I aimed the camera, he clamped his wings shut and resolutely refused to open them again whilst I was nearby. His wings were pale blue and would have made a rather nice shot.
Because I used a prime lens with no zoom, I did a fair bit of cropping so played around in Elements to enlarge today's submission.
