This is for the Dogwood Challenge Week 2 - to illustrate the rule of thirds showing movement.
In the ancient Cinque Port town of Sandwich in Kent, there is a narrow alley or cut through near to the Quay called Holy Ghost Alley immediately opposite the old town jail. One of the adjacent houses is called Holy Ghost Alley House.
This alley fascinates me and I thought it would make a possible candidate for this week's Challenge. I guess someone sauntering gently past would have demonstrated movement, but because of the alley's name, I played around with the shutter speed to attempt a ghostly figure. The model I used was a gentleman who had struck up a conversation with me about cameras a few moments earlier, and I enlisted his help. I don't know his name, but I am very grateful for his assistance!
We have been away for a few days so I can't comment on all the photos I have missed, but I have checked them out. Will catch up soon. Had to fav this one though
