I've been getting beach withdrawal so today ventured down to my favourite spot. I haven't been there since November when my car was broken into and there had been a spate of thefts from vehicles. Not much money was stolen, it was just inconvenient with a lot of smashed glass. Apparently the thieves have been caught - two 13 year olds ...

I really like your take on texture here. Great to have a landscape with all that texture from the incoming (or may be it is receding) wave. And the light is wonderful. Glad you were brave enough to put the past events behind you and venture out.

Amazed that they caught them, but sorry for the inconvenience and shock of the loss when it happened. Beautiful shot - a great reward for returning to the spot.
