Sea Wall by fbailey

Sea Wall

For the Flash of Red February theme, subject matter being leading lines.

This is the sea wall at the edge of Samphire Hoe nature reserve with the English Channel on the lhs and the White Cliffs of Dover on the rhs.
Great lines leading the eye to the cliffs :)

There are the lines of the seawall, but there are all the lines coming off the cliffs leading to the sea.

@yrhenwr The nature reserve was constructed from the millions of tonnes of chalk left over from the Channel Tunnel construction. It was called Samphire Hoe because of the wild Samphire growing on the cliffs, and Hoe because it was a jutting outcrop of land:)

Great straight and curving leading lines and love the feeling of size the cliffs give off - very dramatic
