Rambling On by fbailey

Rambling On

Today was supposed to be a relatively short stroll. Got a little carried away, the goalposts kept shifting, and three hours later we were nearly back in the car park to head home. The dogs have been exceptionally quiet ever since their stroll and have slept most of the rest of the day. I only hope they don't expect the same tomorrow!

This was taken up on the hills above Temple Ewell and the village in the valley is Lydden.
Wonderful view and great composition for your image. Looks so very peaceful. Think I would have to join the dogs and nap for the rest of the day after a three hour hike. Good on you.

a beautiful vista, so typical of the English countryside.. i do understand how the goalposts move - there are so many small lanes to explore..

It's easy to see why the goal posts kept shifting. It looks like a beautiful area for walking :)
