@wenbow Hi Wendy, this was a challenge for sure! My main difficulty is finding somewhere elevated to shoot from. Tried all sorts of locations with little success! Will have another attempt later in the week, hopefully with a better result :)
@overalvandaan Both are important Saxa. I had to Google it to find out what it meant for the challenge. Basically it's shooting from an elevated angle, and then blurring the bottom and top thirds to bring the subject into sharp focus in Photoshop (I use Elements), and then saturating the colour to add a bit of extra impact. It's great fun, but very dependent on the angle you take it from and the subject. I tried lots that were failures.
I really like this. As I looked at the post about voting, I looked up a tilt shift photo and realized I would have a similar difficulty in finding a subject that I could get above. This does give the toy or miniature look to the boats in the harbor, so I think you nailed this challenge.
