My second attempt at street photography for Get Pushed 292.
I was chatting away to my dog (as you do) when this fabulous Great Dane passed by with her owner. I've always been crazy about Danes since I first laid eyes on one, so it was second nature to ask if I could take a picture. Again the owner was so kind!
If ever I get this challenge again (which hopefully I might not!) one of my dogs will be coming along with me:)
@rjb71 Thank you, I can thoroughly recommend it - it pushed me so far out of my comfort zone I can't find my way back there! Before joining I had never tried long shutter speeds, light painting, street photography, double exposure. It's been a steep learning curve but a good one:) And dog owners always chat away fairly easily to one another too!
"Who loves you, Baby?"
Super image, and of course you were talking to your dog, some of the best conversations are between a dog and its human!
Sadie to mummy, "We've been here 2 seconds, I'm ready to go," as she hit me behind the knees in her impatient way. Thank goodness I hadn't discovered photography when she still ruled the house,

@fbailey Congrats for both pictures! It looks awesome! For me you aced the challenge ;)
I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t really want to do this challenge but I hope you enjoyed it a bit nonetheless. You seems to have meet some nice people and dog.
@floranhachez I'm glad you liked the pictures, I felt it was cheating a bit asking dog owners, but I'm not very brave with strangers! I did meet some lovely owners and their dogs though, but it was a challenge nonetheless:) Isn't she a fabulous dog!
@fbailey I don’t see it as cheating, they are still stranger and at the end it’s easier and more fun to start with people with whom you share something.
Yes she is and she seems to have quite some success here ;)
so impressive. great portrait - and that you went so far out of your comfort zone! one day maybe i'll engage a stranger. until then i'll be cowardly and lurk about with a very long lens
