Catherine @redandwhite and I took the dogs up to the lighthouse at St Margaret's Bay this morning and Ingrid and Mark came over to make a fuss of initially Callum, Catherine's dog, and then mine. We all chatted away about dogs to begin with and they told us they had just returned from teaching English for the last four years in Thailand. I asked if they would mind being part of the 100 Strangers project and they kindly agreed.
A really lovely couple who were extremely pleasant to chat to:)
Wonderful portrait.............you are doing a great job with the 100 strangers!
I don't think I could that.................sometimes I wish I wasn't so shy!
@radiogirl If anyone had ever told me I would be doing this 6 months ago I'd have said no chance. Get Pushed challenged me to take a pic of a stranger with extra points if I talked to them. I was so scared. So I asked a fellow dog walker if I could take a shot of his dog and then both of them and he was fine about it. I heard about the 100 Strangers project and thought I'd try it on my own terms and in my own time. I am only realising now how many people do talk to me in the course if a day:) PS I'm shy too!
I sort of like that it's slightly off-center. It's a very nice portrait of them and they sound like a very interesting couple having taught abroad like that. Good shot!
