Looking down through a telephoto lens, the opposite way that a camera normally does ?

empty bottle ?

Reminds me of looking through a heavy (think blown glass) wine goblet.

@joansmor @markp @cocobella @randystreat Ahhh, I found a kindred spirit in Kathy...yes, this is what I saw at the bottom of my empty wine glass on Sunday. I have some heavy purple, gold-encrusted, goblets I only use once or twice a year. Hubby and I were sitting down to Sunday dinner (and I have a no-cook Sunday rule I love, haha) and we were having boxed frozen pizza. Last minute I decided Mother's day needed to be more special since we were lacking the people that make me a mother, so I lit some candles, poured some cheap wine into very expensive glasses, and it became much more festive! Thank you for playing.

I wouldn't have guessed this one - Clever addition to make the Mother's Day dinner more festive.

I was leaning toward purple porcelain but I couldn’t get the light in the center to work with that idea! I like your no cook rule, very cool.

@featherstone26 That can turn anything festive. Happy Mother’s Day.

Looking into a very very big and heavy lens.

@taffy @shutterbug49 @louannwarren @milaniet Kathy guessed correctly, sadly looking into an empty wine glass. The body of the glass is purple but the stem is clear. When I held it towards the light, it had this appearance. Thank you for your comments!
