This is the River Great Ouse passing through Bedford town centre. (An attractive view of Bedford? Should get it framed)
Took a drive out with a young German visitor who - wait for it - wanted to take some photos of England! I knew on sight that she was ok! We drove around some of the countryside and I got a chance to catch up as I seem to have missed a day somehow.
Won't be much better tomorrow - and although I've made a valiant attempt today I fear I haven't got to all your photos yet. I am having a small hole lasered in my iris tomorrow to relieve internal eye pressure... (I know how to have fun) so if I don't get to your shots soon, please forgive me, I'll catch up in the end!
Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my shots over the last couple of days - you're such a kind bunch and it's so encouraging :)
beautiful view - the rivers are real assets aren't they. Hope the operation went well and sorry to be unsupportive and not around - I had no laptop for a week
Well, I'm home and catching up on all the catching up you did. I hope your eye is fine and the surgery did what it was supposed to do. I agree with Henri- this is a picture postcard.
