Most fish, I feel, look decidedly glum. This one looked almost flirty!
Had a trip to the London sealife centre yesterday and took quite a few shots with my "New Camera" which took a bit of getting used to, to say the least. This was one of the better shots but I'm glad to say I did manage a pretty seahorse and the battery didn't run out (like it did in February).
My little Canon Ixus was winding down and is now in a soft gentle place enjoying retirement. My new Canon Powershot XS 230hs is an older model which meant I could get it cheaper, it has lots of toys, auto and manual and a zoom / pixel count that even impressed George. No guarantees it will improve my photography! I hope to save up for a DSLR, this will keep me quiet 'til then.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my squinty winky moon shot - hope you're having a marvellous weekend and the moon is smiling down on you wherever you are :)
that aquarium is really difficult because it's so dark and all electric lighting - that's really done well with the light there (I also add additional challenges by going with teenagers who need supervising, so I can't stay behind and take pictures)
What a funny looking fish! Great capture! Save your money on a DSLR.... Point and shoots do just as nice work if you know how to use the manual settings. I've been using Kodak EasyShares since I began in year 1... This is fantastic shot! Great detail and color and everything.
Cheers
