Sepia sheep by filsie65

Sepia sheep

Rather preferred this picture of the sheep in a field nearby... gave it the same 'recipe' as the other shots but to me it didn't have the same ageless feel... perhaps because folk in olden days wouldn't have taken a photo like this?

Thank you so much to everyone who loved the love toast silliness yesterday! For anyone's interest I would say that white bread works better than brown bread and it helps to press the shape in rather than cut it in. (I used a knife followed by a spoon!) TGIF tomorrow!
i bet they make nice sepia jumpers

Love how they're all looking at you! Whenever I try to take a shot of sheep they run a mile...hmm, wonder if that should tell me something?

Two things come to mind upon your commentary. The edging for me makes this particular shot look contemporary, but the sepia does look old. So, two, I would give it a straight edge and either give it a dauggertype frame, or give it a straight edge and run it through the "old photo" effect in iPiccy which would (obviously) make it look like an old photo. But I love the sheep!

What a great shot, I like the way all the sheep closest to you are paying attention and looking your way. Fantastic shot :O

Excellent shot of the sheep! I love how you captured them! I love that they are all looking right at you, as if asking themselves what is she doing. The sepia adds that aged look. Great job!

love this shot of the sheep, Phil - the vintage processing seems to work perfectly for me!

This should have a BUNCH of favs on it! The formation and expressions of the sheep ROCK! I love this! How are you doing the special "cut" on the edges? I have "scissors' that make that very cut....it adds to the vintage feel so well!

@espyetta Gosh MaryBeth thank you for such enthusiasm, delighted you like it!
I went onto Picmonkey, they do a variety of cut edges in their frames section, this one seemed to suit the mood and I stuck with it through the month. ("Same September") Have a super Sunday! :)

@filsie65 Oh, I did not know that pikmonkey had that. I have been editing on my ipad alot and using snapseed, since on the weekends, I am at the lake, away from my computer. Thanks for the info. I love this sheep pic. It is so great, so easy to get enthused about it!
