Amazed that this could look so much more alive with a little cross-processing. Almost went for the B&W option as you would hardly have been able to tell the difference - it has been grey and misserly all day - thick fog and raining at the same time. Needed headlights on all day... you get the picture.
But nothing, dear friends, could dampen my spirits when I opened an email and found my Querky Keyboard was in the Top 20 this week!! Thank you Sean for telling me and thank you all for getting me there - to be on the same page as such talent and classy shots is such an honour - I'm chuffed witless and doing a happy dance!! Mwah!!
PS Glad you liked my goosey shot yesterday - it was a very quick snap as they wouldn't stand as still as the photo suggests! Have a cracking weekend
Ooh, congrats on the top20 :o) This is lovely. I hate being out in fog but this has made a beautiful pic. Love the tones that the cross processing has given it xx
This is a beautiful shot! And congrats on the Top 20! I love your expression "chuffed witless"! My six months on here I thought chuffed meant angry! Duh!
Phil, you darling lady - no one deserved that spot more than you! Congrats on that. I fully intend to take the time someday to study several of your themed months that I've admired greatly. I'll be your apprentice! This is a lovely shot and I love the crop!
Yay top 20 now that is an achievement, well done and so well deserved!! I think the whole country is shrouded in this murky blanket!! Looks good here though!!
This is lovely. The tones are pretty and the scenery so attractive. Congrats on making top 20. Your month of letters and themes was incredible and deserves recognition.
This is so lovely! I don't know why, but it makes me think of a scene from a Jane Austen novel. Perhaps Mr Darcy could be on his horse. galloping across the landscape!!
What a gorgeous shot! I love the mist and the trees and how it tones down all the colors. I would have been able to tell the difference. I'm glad you kept it in color. They look soft and subdued. Well done, Phil! :)
Nice and moody shot. The guy who picked us up from our hotel at Heathrow Saturday morning drove us trough Richmond Park and the weather was just like this. I told Claudia, I'd give almost anything for a couple of hours with my camera there.
Gongratulations with your Top 20 shot. Well deserved.
I love the composition and crop. This would make a wallpaper border.
Gongratulations with your Top 20 shot. Well deserved.
