This little guy was shot through the window, so I'm amazed to have captured any detail at all - but I'm quite pleased and feel it is another of my mythical 'essential 365 shots' ticked off the list.
So grateful to you for your comments, views and even kisses over the last few days ... you're smashing! Mwah!
I think you've done a great job here because I was trying to take shots of blue tits today and I found it much harder than I expected. The pesky little things just won't keep still!
Another cool shot! You have been one of my most regular "commenters" this year - thank you, I really appreciate it - have a great 2014. Hope to see you at another meet up!
I looked through your albums and I didn't see any smoke shots. So your push this coming week is to participate in the 5+2 theme (selfies) of Smoke. Use your imagination, Photoshop or whatever....the 5+2 theme will be posted by this evening (Sunday) for next week. I'm looking forward to your entry!
@mikegifford ..can't find the post, but you're saying you want me to do a selfie with smoke?! Blimey you don't ask much :) Ok... I'm always one for a challenge and the thought of playing with candles or bonfires appeals to me :) I'm sorry, I haven't been here much this week to compose your challenge but I'll make it top of my list today. Let me know if there's anything you don't like
@filsie65 I'm usually up for any challenge, you can see my background and albums. Sorry the 5+2 weekly selfie challenge didn't get updated on time, probably due to the holidays. I'm a member of the group ( http://365project.org/fiveplustwo/profile) and Sunday is when the new post is scheduled. A selfie and the theme is smoke. Personally I prefer incense to create the smoke, and capture images with a black background. Check out Gavin Hoey's two smoke photography videos for some insights here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2d281_HoEQ
Good luck and I'm looking forward to seeing what you produce!
Fab burst of colours in this horrid weather. I'm glad to see the birds are getting your fat balls, my birds aren't getting a look in with the tribe of squirrels we've got.
