What a friendly little chick he turned out to be - only one of a dozen to hatch, and always happy to be held, which you can imagine delighted all the children who all got a turn :) When someone went past it would cheep and chirp so loudly you could hear it at the other end of the school! It's half term whitsun break, so time for him to go to the farm and make friends with the other chicks.
In other news, George had his last day at school - he only has to go back for his exams so a new era has somehow begun - and a photo I took of the little chick was on the front page of the local paper! Cute factor wins every time over local politics it seems!
