Not something I see every day..! These sweet little muntjac deer have a home nearby but are rarely seen for long, in the past I have been lucky to get a shot of a bottom disappearing into the bushes... I think I was saved by the early morning sunshine on the window hiding my presence but he could clearly see something was around.. he scarpered shortly afterwards.
The story goes that these were introduced to Woburn Abbey but they escaped and are now widespread across huge parts of England. Some folk consider them to be a nuisance (eating gardens, bulbs, flowers like this one was) but I think they are sweet,
