Well a trip to the big city via New Street station was called for. What a surprise.. it has changed rather a lot in the last 30 years since I last went through it (!) and it felt rather more like a snazzy airport than the old tired building I trekked through daily. Outside we spotted this which is nothing at all like the bull ring I remember (a dump). Had to take a shot in the sunshine....

It is such an amazing building isn't it. The last time I visited was before I started photography unfortunately but maybe the day will come when I return xx
