Gulls on the Lake

Gulls on the artificial lake near where I live. The lake was created for drainage when the old wartime airfield was developed for housing. It has matured over the years into a lovely walk on the way to the shops at the Clifton Moor shopping area on the outskirts of York. The lake is visited by gulls and Canada Geese, has a pair of resident breeding swans as well as some of the best fed ducks in the city.
