Nativity

York has had a Nativity trail this year. Ian and I were out yesterday and I took this picture of the nativity displayed in Coney Street , by the church if St.Martin Le Grande.

I liked the back lighting as it highlights Joseph so well. Mum always felt Joseph wasn't given the prominence he deserved in the Christmas story. She once said Joseph must have been a wonderful father for Jesus to describe God as a father so often.

this is beautiful! Lovely shot! We always use Joseph as a perfect example of how to make family life peaceful, and my parents always taught us to look up to him as our role model! :)
