Oh dear! Egglescliffe, Yarm by fishers

Oh dear! Egglescliffe, Yarm

On our day out in Yarm, Ian and I crossed the river and walked up the hill and discovered the small village of Egglescliffe (the name means church on a hill). This rather attractive, shored up farm house could be seen by from the edge of the village green.

We saw sheep and cows but could not spot the new farm buildings, at least I hope there was a new farm house as this one looks very unsafe!

Terrific capture and amazing that such effort is made to preserve the structure. Hope it isn't too little too late.
