The weather over the last few days has been wet and miserable, but there was a short period this afternoon when things brightened up and we even had a brief burst of sunshine.
Katharine and I had a walk to the Homestead Park, about a mile from home. On the way there I spotted this view of sunlight through the leaves on a beech tree, so here is today's bright spot!

It was a Beech wood I took the pic. A wood they do n`t clean up the dead trees.
