August 1982, and it's evening on Loch Promenade in Douglas, Isle of Man. This fountain was only turned on and illuminated for a short time each evening so I was fortunate to catch this view.
As I took the original transparency, with a 20 second exposure, a young girl ran up towards the fountain, stopped, and then realised I was taking a photo so she moved away again - hence the faint figure of a young girl to the right of the fountain.
Another shot from my long term project to scan all my transparencies.

Thank you all for your comments and favs, they are appreciated.
It's an interesting challenge scanning and restoring old images, and I still have a lot to learn, but I am quite pleased with this shot.
