View south-east towards Danby Crag, from the grounds of the Moors Centre, Danby.
The weather wasn't ideal for my first Moorsbus trip of the year, with mainly overcast skies and the occasional shower, but there were occasional glimpses of sunshine, as here on the woodland below Danby Crag.
English countryside is always very beautiful when the sun manages to show up. Beautiful capture of this lovely view. The table and bench seem to be calling out for picnickers to go and have some fun time.
Late Friday afternoon is usually quiet at the Moors Centre. Most day visitors and school parties have already gone home and peace descends. The variety of greens in the view are the result of recent rain which has brought the countryside to life again, following a long dry period.
