The house is on fire!

No, not really, but I did love this sky over the rooftop that I spotted after I got home to York yesterday evening.

Yesterday was a busy day, going with my daughter and grandchildren to a summer fayre, while my son in law was busy with DIY in their new house. Later in the afternoon a combination of rural bus followed by train back from Lincolnshire to York, after several lovely days with family. Hopefully another visit won't be too far away.

Despite the dramatic sky the weather stayed calm, with just light showers, rather than the dramatic weather that the sky seems to threaten.

I should add that nobody's home was damaged in the taking of this shot!
