Chester - Lego Cathedral by fishers

Chester - Lego Cathedral

A bit of fun with a serious purpose today. A Lego model of Chester Cathedral which will eventually contain around 350,000 bricks is under construction. It covers an area 4 metres by 2 metres. Visitors can add bricks for a charge of only £1 per brick, and so far (up to the beginning of May), 182,585 bricks have been added.

The funds raised go towards the Chester Cathedral Education Trust Fund, which supports the Education department as it provides services such as tailored tours and workshops for school parties.
