A Local Resident by fishers

A Local Resident

An early post today, since I will spend most of the day out of reach of a keyboard.

Last Saturday our walk took us northwards along Castleton Rigg towards Castleton village. In this shot we are passing above a disused quarry, with one of the local residents having recently having his fleece shorn.
