This shot is of part of a shop window remembrance display, with a dress of camouflage netting and crocheted poppies. The whole window of Wolens and Harewood's hardware shop was decorated with other poppies and poems, and this shop was just one of a number of shops with displays.
On the hospital front, Katharine is somewhat better today, and now has a pain management plan in place. She was discharged from hospital this evening and is now back at home. Thank you all for your care and concern during her hospital stay.
An interesting tribute to a Day of Remembrance> I ad forgotten that we used to call Veteran's Day, "Poppy Day" and my dad always came home wearing a poppy. I'm glad Katherine can go home..
And welcome home, Katharine! I have been praying for you and will keep going, I think! Delighted you are well enough to be at home and your pain is under control. Cheering you on for your recovery. All the best.
Best wishes to Katharine, you and family.
Great to hear Katharine is home now. Home is the best medicine.

Thank you too for your good wishes for Katharine, who has had a very quiet first day at home from hospital.
