Bird by fishers

Bird

At last I achieved my target of walking from home to and around Rawcliffe Lake, so my return to fitness after my winter of illness continues. Looking at the stone snake has helped me to walk further and has been a real pleasure. It grows longer and new stones appear almost daily.

This is one of my favourite painted stones. I like its attention to detail.

Nice to know you are recovering, it’s always made easier when there is something interesting to take your attention, the stone is lovely. I too am recovering from a really bad dose of Sepsis last year which I have found is taking me longer than I thought, but all you can do is put your best foot forward.

So pleased to hear how well you are doing. This stone is lovely, it’s been done very well

The stone takes the shape of the bird, or perhaps the bird has been painted in the shape of the stone. Whatever it is it is really a very nice painting. Glad for you that you achieved the aim you set yourself to do.

Thank you for the lovely comments and favs. It is nice to get out and we are fortunate to have Rawcliffe Lake so close. The trip from our house, round the lake and back is about 1.4 miles (2.2km). The stone snake is a bonus to look at and see what new stones are there. Quite a few new ones today
